The Hot Dog Trail
A multi-use trial which offers a mellow alternative to the current Mountain to Meadow trail. Excellent for beginner mountain bikers, runners, and hikers. The trail starts at the Big Sky Resort Base area and ends at the Huff’s Trek trail head.
Projected Cost
Trail Dogs and SWMMBA obtained a proposal from Terraflow, the mountain bike trail building company, for $212,000. Estimate includes 3.5 miles of trail construction. Long term maintenance planned through community partnerships and club volunteer hours. This proposed trail has community support and committed funds through several grant sources already.
Our goal is to raise $12,000 for this project through donations.
