Mule Skinner Award

Each year, we have a timed segment in the area of the Mules Loop in the long course.    This varies each year.    We present two awards:  Fastest Male and Fastest Female.

2025 Mule Skinner DH Timed Segment Details – Second Yellow Mule

50 Mile Racers will ride the Mules Loop in a clockwise direction.  They will ride up First Yellow Mule, through the Buck Ridge Whiskey+Bacon Aid Station and then turn right and ride Buck Ridge to the Second Yellow Mule.  Then they will descend Second Yellow Mule trail back out to the end of the lollypop.

• The START timing mat for the downhill segment will be placed just after the Buck Ridge Whiskey + Bacon Station.
• The END timing mat will be placed at the end of Second Yellow Mule before the Y of the lollypop.
